COMP Cams LS Timing Cover part # 5496 fits all GM LS Based blocks, OEM and aftermarket, including the RHS® LS Race Block. The cover has a unique design that allows it to work with both front and rear Cam sensor LS engines. It however will not work with the LS7s unique oil pump and chain tensioner setup (Part # 5497 will). These parts are not included with the purchase of an RHS Race Block but are available for purchase separately.
- Features provisions for a timing pointer
- OE camhaft sensor and Chevrolet Big Block crank trigger.
- Accommodates aftermarket double roller timing sets and high pressure/high volume oil pumps.
- Includes crankshaft seal and timing cover gasket.
- Fits LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 as well as 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 Liter Truck/SUV engines.
