Developed and manufactured in the USA by 10K Technologies, this new Precision Helical Gear Drive System delivers maximum durability and consistency for racers utilizing Ford’s 2020 and newer 7.3 L “Godzilla” engine platform in high-RPM racing applications. Unlike the factory setup, this helical gear drive eliminates failure-prone stock timing chains and hydraulic tensioners, while also eliminating the need for camshaft phasers. The result is a robust, reliable system designed for aggressive, high-lift camshaft profiles and race-level RPM ranges. A low-helix gear tooth design helps minimize noise while reducing axial thrust, ensuring stable operation even under extreme conditions. Installation is straightforward, requiring no engine block machining while still utilizing the stock front cover and cam sensor for a true bolt-on solution. For additional flexibility, the gear drive is also fully compatible with the 10K Technology Billet race front cover. A new solid cam bolt is included to ensure maximum strength and security.
