GTW 2" & 2-5/16" Balls
The AlumaLite™ aluminum drop hitch combines strength with weight efficiency, simplifying the leveling process when towing unlevel trailers. Crafted from lightweight billet aluminum, the shank is designed for easy handling and installation and offers a 5-1/2" of drop, adjustable in precise 1" intervals, making height adjustments easy with the 2" or 2-5/16" ball. The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch also seamlessly fits any 2" x 2" hitch receiver with 5/8" hitch pin holes. A drop hitch is an essential accessory for towing trailers with differing heights compared to the tow vehicle. An uneven trailer connection can lead to improper weight distribution and drooping or elevated connection. This misalignment can encourage trailer sway and result in unexpected accidents. Drop hitches resolve this issue by leveling the vehicle-trailer connection, providing a safe and secure tow. Every CURT product is built with quality to provide dependable, safe towing. The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch, forged from billet aluminum, provides a sleek polished aluminum finish that's stylish, lightweight and user-friendly. Stringently tested for safety and universally compatible to fit all 2" x 2" hitches, it's rated for towing 8,000 lbs. using the 2" ball, and it can handle up to 12,500 lbs. when utilizing the 2-5/16" ball.

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant billet aluminum construction for easy handling

Tested for safety in accordance with
